“I had to write to say how much I enjoy your
website. I have found your website to be an outstanding resource
for the Lane Tech fan athletic community. I love the fact that
you are focused on the entire Lane sports program not just to
one individual sport or level of sport. ... Let me not forget to
mention how user friendly your website is .I am definitely going
to spread the word about your website.
Thanks for a great web site, it is great to have
people to "talk” and read about what is going on about Lane Tech
sports programs!”

“Great job getting a
link for the sophomore football team up on the site... I think
it's important for the lower levels not to be overlooked as I
have a lot of friends from high school that only played at the
lower levels. And, some have said it was one of the most
memorable times of their lives at my 10- and 20-year reunions…
Keep up the great and
informative site.”

“Just
came across the website. Good work ! Great way for us to keep up
with the athletics—I have been wishing for years that the
official school site would do a better job of that. I am a
graduate of the Class of 73. The last class that had no girls
(at one time we were proud of that). Keith Foley was my
freshman football coach in '70 before he left to go to Phillips.
Sorry to see him leave. I think he is a good man. I live in
Omaha now and work at the NBC affiliate (WOWT-TV) as a sports
reporter.
Once again I appreciate your efforts and look
forward to more.”

A Heavy Dosage of Evanston Township High School
By: Neil Hernandez
In
a period of 9 days last week I watched five Evanston Township
High School games. The first was a varsity football game versus
Hinsdale Central at Evanston High School. Then, I watched two
volleyball matches as Lane’s sophomore and varsity girls
volleyball teams play at Evanston. Finally I watched Evanston’s
sophomore and varsity football teams play Lane Tech at Lane
Stadium. The following article is some of my observations of
the games and a comparison of the two schools. Now why did I do
all this?...more
