Lane Tech Involvement They say 90 percent of success is showing up and putting your best effort. In that metric Lane Tech was 100% successful at the Lyons Township Invitational. Lane had runners in every single race including that freshman level. That is very impressive considering Lane has not even officially started school yet. Lane, like all Chicago Public League schools start on September 5, 2006. Also, participation was relatively high this year with over 75 members on all levels combined and school has not even started. coach Kris Roof anticipates an even greater number of participants joining the team after school starts.
