I got the following email from a Laneite. Lincoln has been added to the list of Laneites that played beyond high school. Hey, my name is Lincoln DePaula and I graduated from Lane in 2003. I played 4 years of football, and 3 years of track, starting both of my varsity years at free safety and split end. I went to Harper College where I started at every game at free safety and finished the season with 4 interceptions and a 70 yard punt return that helped set up the winning touchdown against North Dakota School of Science. In the bowl game against Iowa Central I blocked a punt and recovered a fumble helping lead Harper to its first National Championship in school history. I am currently Physical Education major at Northern Illinois.
