Guidelines on How to Submit a Story
- The team or individual can be from any Lane Tech sport or newsworthy
activity.
- The story can be for any time period past or present.
- Try to be as accurate as possible. Although we understand that in
accuracies sometimes happen and a correction will try to be made. If an
error is found the correction can always be made at a later time
- Try to give specific names of players, coaches or teams. Try to write
full names, but if you don't have a full name then at least try to give a
first name.
- The write up can be about anything on the individual or sport. Use your
creativity but try to document and remember as much as possible.
- Stories can be submitted anonymously or you can submit the author's
name.
- The more you can edit the submission so it is ready to publish the
better. Remember most of you attended Lane and so you are supposed to be a
"Lane Brain."
- Try to include electronic versions of relevant pictures or videos of the
story, if you have it.
- If you have no idea on what to submit the following are some recommended
items to submit:

led 43-0 at the half in the first round of the city playoffs, but ended up
losing to Dunbar for the city championship)
