Win Over Taft Boosts Lane's
Chances
Lane 74, Taft 60
Lane (10-11, 2-7): Shelton Jackson 26

Senn 70, Lake View 49

Lane Tech's 74-60 win over Taft
put them in a tie with Lakeview for last place in the Red-North Conference
with one conference game to go for each team. No team wants to finish in
last place, for the last place team get's sent to the less competitive
Blue-North conference next year. more...
-
If teams finish tied for last
place, it's been said (although not confirmed) that the first tie breaker is
Head to Head Competition and that whoever wins the last game wins. So,
Lakeview won the first Head to Head game over Lane but Lane won the second
Head to Head last week so Lane will hold the tie breaker.

Lane Tech leading scorer Shelton
Jackson is apparently fine after injuring his ankle in last week's game
versus Lakeview. He led the Indians with 26 points.

Lane Tech cheerleaders behind the team bench. The cheerleaders placed 9th
out of 15 earlier this year in their first IHSA cheerleading state competition.
Keep up the effort, good job cheerleaders!!! (www.LaneTechFan.com photo)
